About

I'm Albion.

I'm a retired IT manager and cybersecurity professional with more than 26 years of experience building, securing, repairing, and questioning the systems people depend on. My background is in infrastructure, security, troubleshooting, compliance, and the messy real-world space where technology meets human behavior.

These days, Albion is where I collect what I'm working on, what I'm learning, and what I'm still trying to understand. That might mean homelab projects, Linux systems, automation, cybersecurity notes, practical experiments, personal opinions, or deep dives into whatever problem has my attention at the moment.

I like useful tools, clear thinking, honest explanations, and solutions that survive contact with reality. This site is part workshop, part notebook, part archive, and probably a few rabbit holes I should have known better than to follow.
